Market Transactions - on shop or on starbase market - are handled by a collection of programs.

There are two main program sets to handle your requests:

The first program catches your requests live on blockchain.

It basically reads live blocks, so it triggers and delivers your content usually within 3 seconds.

It can deliver packs purchased and market operations on the fly. Most operations are now completed thanks to this program.

Next we invoke our “cold transactions” spell.

In case the first program misses or would like further review, a second program catches up. This one acts with what we call “cold transactions”, after 3 seconds have passed and live blocks are moved to old blocks.

It usually proceeds every two minutes.

This program uses third party hive services to read the blockchain further.

On March 18th 2025, the cold transaction program had a maintenance following an interruption on a third party service. It now accesses a new service for transaction verification.

New version is being tested at the moment.

After 72 hours have passed, the second program moves your requests to an archive. This huge library can sitll be browsed by the developer to investigate any situation that comes up.

No request is then lost.
