      Synergy
      • Synergy is often mentioned on Origin cards.

      • During deck creation, any card equipped on the deck, except this one, will receive +1 Quality Level for every matching trait it has with the given Synergy.


      • For example, if an Origin card mentions a Scientific synergy, then an officer who has this faction trait will receive a +1 in Quality Level when generating the corresponding character.

        Synergy is cumulative. If the Origin card also mentions a Science skill synergy, and your card has it too, then it will also receive +1 Quality Level for this matching synergy.

      About Traits
      • Traits mentioned on Crew, Officers, Passengers and Cargo cards can be Factions required in your deck to equip this card or special features allowed by the card.

        For Crew, Officers and Passengers they often are skills. Skills are used in the game to test the character success or failure.

        Your card equipped in a game will generate a character.

        Skills will be randomly generated on the resulting character with a score related to the card Quality Level and how skilled the character card mentions it should be in this (such as Minor skill, Major skill, or a negative).
      Traits on this Card

      • Warfare: This is a skill of the Academic domain. War equipment experience. Used in everything in war, from personal weapons to spaceship weapons and shields.

      • Administration: This is a skill of the Academic domain. Administration is used on a colony to generate a report, manage other people or optimize their efficiency.

      • Leadership: This is a skill of the Social domain. Leadership is especially important for officers in charge, or characters being in commanding position of a tactical team.

      • Awareness: This is a skill of the Physical domain. Used passively to detect threats and prevent exceptional danger. Also accelerates speed and effectiveness of some actions.
