Rescue Operations:
Fire Worlds
Rescue Operations Packs are valuable Contract Packs adding access to a gameplay and rewards every week.
These packs are meant to be held in your collection (you can have multiple of them in your collection), each pack giving you tradable rewards every weeks. But also: an intriguing mission!
Special Features
Rescue Operations Packs represent a special permit and access given to your agents to help a number of colonies.
They have a number of very specific features and advantages:
- They deploy their content every Monday!
- Content is deployed as a special access to a playable mission.
- Players holding them in their collection at that time will each receive a generated mission for every Rescue Pack they have.
- First content ETA is for Monday December 1st, 2025.
- This uses and expands on existing gameplay already identified and tested in Colonization Challenges, so you don't have to wait for a specific release.
Each pack delivers a new mission every week, generated just for you.
Completing this mission at any time during the week will validate it, and the rewards will be sent to you before a new cycle begins the next Monday.
Completing missions
- The first week will propose a Level 1 Mission with related rewards, which is a random roll between EXOCREDITS or a Beta Booster.
Note that EXOCREDITS are receiving even more need following their utility in Colonization Challenges (including these ones) and the announced colonization gameplay.
- If you complete it, the second week will propose a Level 2 Mission with increased rewards (planned to be three random rolls, so at least three times more rewards).
- If you complete it again, the third week will propose a Level 3 Mission. Level 3 Missions, if completed successfully, always give you the unique Legendary Card of this contract.
- Once this cycle is over, or any time you fail to complete a Mission, it will reset back to proposing a Level 1 Mission the next Monday.
This means that skillful players will extract more rewards more regularly from their Rescue Operations and will be very quick to get a very good payout from them.
In addition, all players can have fun with it! This content is procedural and you are free to share the good or odd things you had in it.
Fire Worlds reward cards related to surviving on a Volcanic Planet or High Temperature regions or seasons.
How to participate
Missions follow the same criteria as regular Colonization Challenges but are uniquely generated for your player.
This means you have access to a Mission Briefing mentioning what is expected. And you set up characters and assets to try to validate this challenge.
Participation is separated between a Colony Team of four characters or assets, and an Away Team of four characters or assets.
Each Team has different criteria ; for instance, only Away Teams allow the use of Vehicles, and only Colony Teams allow to use starships and installations, and only in specific slots.
There is no guarantee that missions can be made easy, though Level 1 Missions will have less risks and easier ones than Level 2 or Level 3 Missions.
There will be weeks where you will find the mission is easy. And other weeks where you will think that one looks hard!
If you hold several Rescue Operations Packs in your collection, each will propose its own procedural mission! This will give you many more options.
Other features
There are also some differences with regular Challenges too:
- The missions are personal and individual, procedurally generated just for you.
- “Fire World” missions are always played on a volcanic planet.
- This means you should always expect a “Burning” environment risk among all risks proposed.
- Your Characters and Assets are free here of any regular Challenge assignments. Your assignments are not shared with other Colonization Challenges, meaning that your entire collection is free to participate.
- For now, we plan to share participation with packs of the same model (all Fire Worlds will share assignments), to make it more challenging but still interesting to participants.
Important
As this Pack delivers content every week, it does hold considerable value. But players must be advised that you need a group of agents to complete these missions and get your weekly rewards efficiently.
Starters usually complement your strategy well, but are often not enough by themselves to win this even at Level 1.
You need a good collection. As your missions are announced on Monday and validated end of week, you have enough time to complete your strategy during the week!
