The Secret Files is a special release deployed to EXODE on March 24th 2025.

On that day a limited mint of 60 units of very unique powers was added to EXODE shop.

The cards also give the unique power to gain one duplicate copy in EXODE rewards, if you include it in your game deck during a game.

After this release, different Secret Files are to become part of very secret Legacy Rewards gained in extreme conditions of gameplay. This indicates a very high value to gain in Legacy Rewards.

One of these packs was already mentioned as being The Aliens Communications Protocol, a special content that gives the unique power of the associated account to send periodic message to the Aliens.

As it is one among 60, you have some chances already to get it, and even more if you take several packs.

Secret Files are preminted. The current mint has 60 unique packs.

When purchasing a Secret File, you will get one random secret file (in a first come, first served basis) among the ones already minted and currently not distributed.

So, the first pack purchased will be one randomly picked among 60, the second one will be another one, and so on, until all 60 are taken.

Considering the possible high demand and low mint, if several concurring payments are received, the first one to come and be validated will be processed.

It should be possible to trade packs as soon as you have them delivered.

But in the case some development is necessary, it will be done within the week of Secret Files release, and more likely within the first 48 hours of it.

To allow players to not wait for an opening day, purchasers will know the pack number even before they open it.

This way, you will know if you got the Alien Communications Protocol as soon as your purchase is delivered.

In some cases, even for packs which are not the alien Communications Protocol, you will know the “story title” and some information about its power.

Please note in that case that the power may be adjusted later, it can mostly receive more bonuses and several copies instead of one if we deem it necessary.

All Packs will be associated with one Unique Story written specifically to it. This Unique Story will reveal one unique aspect of the world of 2325.

All Packs will give one unique power card. It will usually be an Equipment card which can be used for an Origin or Crew Character, and sometimes be an account power (such as the Aliens Communications Protocol).

As a general rule, the pack will sometimes contain only one card, but we reserve the option to give to the owner several cards instead of one, or bonus cards in addition to the unique one, if we consider it necessary to give the right value. This will happen, however, only for cards for which we consider it useful, cards which we would consider otherwise to be of “average value” and that we want to boost with more value.

Card powers will be fully revealed during Pack Opening. Unique Stories will be fully revealed as soon as they are complete, before or after Pack Opening.

Note: The pack will also reuse the Secret Files art for the card, for clarity to fit in all EXODE contents and locate Secret Files easily, and to avoid delaying other developments. But we reserve the possibility to update it with more unique art later.

The 60 Unique Stories that will be written will deepen the EXODE universe.

They may be also part, though in different versions, of later other products in the EXODE universe, such as tabletop roleplaying or novels.
